Roseville, California–The Oregon Titans 14A Gonzalez team made a gritty run to finish 5th at the USA Softball 14A Nationals.

Game 1, the Titans jumped out to an early lead with 12 runs in the 1st inning, then cruised to a 14-8 victory over Texas Elite Bancroft.  Naomi Galanti had 3 hits and 4 RBI, while Alison Wickham added a homer and 3 RBI to lead the offense.  Hannah Ebner and Abigail Loomis combined for the win in the circle.

Game 2, again the Titans got off to a great start with 5 in the 1st inning and held off the Nor Cal Batbusters Silva for an 11-2 win.  Naomi Galanti picked up another 3 hit game, while Heather Ebner, Abigail Loomis and Tayha Degrande all drove in 2 runs.  Abibail Loomis pitched a 5-inning complete game in the victory.

Game 3, the offensive outburst continued for the Titans as they carded another 5-run first inning and then poured it on to roll to an 18-4 win over CA Breeze Northstate.  Five Titans had multi-hit games as they outhit Breeze 14-6.  Hannah Ebner started the game in the circle and Abigail Looms closed it out.

Game 4, for the third game in a row, the Titans scored 5 runs in the 1st inning and shut down the NorCal Legends for a dominating 14-1 victory.  Teeghan Reams, Heather Ebner, Naomi Galanti and Hannah Jensen all hat multi-hit games with Galanti driving in 3 and Jensen driving in 4.  Jensen and Ebner also both homered.  Abigail Loomis went 5 innings in the circle for the pitching win.

Game 5, the games tightened up from here.  Despite being out hit 10-9, the Titan were able to double up the NorCal Firecrackers Kilgore, 4-2 and claim the win.  Stella Puckett, Heather Ebner and Tayha Degrande all registered multiple hits.  Hannah Ebner started the game and went 5 1/3 innings for the win, while Abigail Loomis closed out the tight game to earn a save.

Game 6, scoring was tough in the this game for both teams, but the Titans capitalized on some miscues by the CA Yard Sharks Lopez/Ceo, to squeak out a 4-1 win.  Heather Ebner had a 4-hit game and Alison Wickham adde a pair of hits.  Abigail Loomis went the distance in the circle allowing only 1 run to earn the victory.

Game 7, after winning 6 in a row, the run came to an end as the Titans could only manage a pair of hits against a tough PS33 Academy National pitcher.  PS33 cruised to a 17-1 win over the Titans with a 9-run 1st inning and an 8-run 2nd.

Game 8, similar to Game 7, the Titans pitching staff seemingly ran out of gas and the offense dried up as LTG Carda/Seva blanked the Titans and rolled to a 12-0 win.  The Titans managed only 3 hits and pitchers were touched up for 11 earned runs.

The 8-game run did earn the Oregon Titans 14A Gonzalez a 5th place finish overall.  A really good performance in the USA Nationals.
